My brother John has attempted to reduce the confusion of who H. Lewis was on an antiques and art website forum, and gave me the website information a few years ago to help defend our great-grandfather’s art. Seeing this forum helped to spur me into motion to also defend the art by spreading correct information.
My mother gave John two chalks done by our great-grandfather, Hubert Lewis. The frames on these pieces are exquisite.
